Drive continuous improvement across the Neurointerventional Service in Leeds by engaging with a network of skilled doctors and medical experts to explore current practices and performance metrics and develop new solutions, processes, and interventional procedures aligned with the core mission and strategic objectives of the service. Own full accountably for the successful stand up of new neurovascular, neurointerventional, and stroke services for a portfolio of client institutions. Play an instrumental role in the cultivation of a high-performance workforces of neurointerventionist, skilled nurses and radiographers through hands-on control of talent development including training, continued mentorship, and routine performance evaluations on interventional procedural assists and the investigation and diagnosis of neurovascular disease. Deliver strategic, results-driven leadership while designing protocols and local guidelines for the successful management of aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, and SAH.  

  • Extensive experience in 3K+ aneurysm coiling cases and acted as the Primary Operator for 2K+ of those cases and performed 10K+ diagnostic catheter angiograms.
  • Headed the development and implementation of multiple new interventional procedures including the highly effective utilization of flow diverters like Pipeline, Streamline, Surpass Evolve, P64, Silk vista, and intrasaccular devices like WEB, Contour, Neqstent, Pconus, Pulse rider and eclips in UK and worldwide.
  • Proficient in wide neurointerventional procedures including balloon and stent assisted treatment of brain aneurysms, arteriovenous malformation embolisations, dural malformation embolisation, spinal malformation embolisations, Tumour embolisations, venous stenting, stroke thrombectomy, intracranial stenting, carotid stenting, Vasospasm angioplasty, epistaxis treatment.
